In response to the spike in Coronavirus cases in our region, the Bay City Players Board of Directors made the difficult decision to suspend all in person programming until further notice. Unfortunately this greatly affected the cast and crew of A CHRISTMAS CAROL: A LIVE RADIO PLAY, who were well into this difficult rehearsal process when the show was cancelled. Undeterred, Director Michael Wisniewski and Assistant Director Trashan Donald got their cast together, and they have decided to present this famous holiday story in a safe, virtual format! A CHRISTMAS CAROL is one of the most famous stories in the English Language, with countless adaptations. Originally a novella published on December 19, 1843, the initial printing sold out within days and has never since been out of print. Our cast will be presenting the format condensed by Dickens himself for his public readings, in what is sure to be a warm and comforting holiday evening! Grab your favorite wassail, get those chestnuts roasting, and tune in to our Facebook on December 22nd to catch this free production!
