Season 102

#

September 11-13 & 18-20, 2020

God of Carnage has been rescheduled for September 11-13 & 18-20 as a virtual performance. The virtual performances will be available to watch online from the safety of your homes on Broadway on Demand. Broadway on Demand can be watched using a web browser or by downloading the app on a tablet, Smart TV, phone, or streaming device. The stage show will be professionally recorded in HD by Snow Productions.

Synopsis: Two sets of parents meet to discuss in a civilized fashion the fight their eleven year old sons had on the school playground. Polite remarks are followed by a sociable drink—or two. Tensions develop between the couples. Tensions develop within the couples. And before you know it, the gloves come off and it’s a verbal free-for-all. The New York Times called this Tony winning drama “A study in tension between civilized surface and savage instinct.” The language gets tough and vulgar, the remarks are personal and deadly, and the play grows fascinating as we wait to see where these four “civilized” people end up.

Very adult. Strong and coarse language.

Note: This performance is only available locally due to streaming restrictions.
