Bay City Players Presents Virtually:

A Cougar Named Florence by Jessica T. Booth

We’re back with another original comedy by a local author!

“Fitting for Audiences 17-70!”

“Laugh Out Loud Funny!”

These are just some of the things people are saying about “A Cougar Named Florence”, written by Carrollton native Jessica Booth.

Florence is determined to prove that life doesn’t end when you reach a certain age. When she moves in with her son Ted and his wife Denise (mainly because they live closer to Bob Evans), her children decide to set her up with a new boyfriend to occupy her time. While they struggle to find an appropriate match, Florence takes matters into her own hands and begins dating a man 30 years her junior. Add in a jug of Boone’s Farm, some plastic carnations, and the local pastor, and you have a recipe for a hilarious comedy-of-errors!

“A Cougar Named Florence” will be streamed here on our Facebook page at 7:30 PM on May 5th. Click “Interested” to receive a reminder that we have “gone live,” and come to our page to enjoy! If you miss it or have to leave early, don’t worry! – the video will be available to watch on our page indefinitely. The show is free to watch, although as always donations are appreciated.

Please join us next Tuesday for another original comedy, “Gargoyles and Scarecrow Sins” by Rick Hamby.
