Bay City Players Presents Virtually:

Gargoyles And Scarecrow Sins by Rick Hamby: An Online Event May 12

As we continue staying home and safe, we’re happy to be able to bring you another installment in the #MakeArtVirtual series! The kinks have been worked out, and all you need to do is grab a drink or snack and curl up in the safety and comfort of your own home as we stream a live reading of an original comedy from our Facebook page.
Gargoyles and Scarecrow Sins by Texas author Rick Hamby may have a spooky name, but it’s sure to tickle your funny bone! When small-town prostitute Miss Opal dies in a car accident, three of her sorority sisters must gather on the night before her funeral to keep watch with her body – even if they hate each other! Add in a white trash hairdresser, a sleazy televangelist, and a screaming mob demanding that Miss Opal not be buried in “hallowed ground,” and you have the ingredients for a darkly funny down-home comedy you won’t want to miss!
Don’t forget to respond to this event for a reminder on the night of the show! Come to our FaceBook page at 7:30 on May 12 and you should see a window where our actors will be presenting the reading. Click and enjoy! As always this show is free to watch, but donations are always appreciated and can be made at www.baycityplayers.org/donate.
