Bay City Players Presents Virtually:

"Wall: A Product of Resourcefulness and Efficiency in America’s Never-Ending Battle for Absolute Supremacy and General All-Around Kick-Assedness": An Online Event - May 19

As we continue staying home and staying safe, we are happy to be able to bring you another installment in the #MakeArtVirtual series. This week our homebound actors will be presenting an original 2010 comedy from Escanaba-based author JR Spaulding Jr! The kinks have been worked out, and all you need to do is grab a drink or snack and curl up in the safety and comfort of your own home as we stream a live reading of an original comedy from our Facebook page.
“As an absolute freak ride of dialectic ridonkulosity, WALL… explodes from the stage like one big supercalifragilistic ball of expialidociousness.” – said no review ever!
In their desire to build a wall of grandiloquent scale and epic importance, Mr. Rondo and his assistant, Ms. Ricki, hope to create a symbol for Americans that will provide renewed purpose to their otherwise meaningless and mundane existence. But when a government agent from the Dept. of Redundancy, Waste, and Red Tape shuts down the project, their noble task becomes more difficultized, leaving them to decide if fulfilling the American Dream is really worth bringing the wrath of The Man down upon them.
Don’t forget to respond to this event for a reminder on the night of the show! Come to our page at 7:30 and you should see a window where our actors will be presenting the reading. Click and enjoy! As always this show is free to watch, but donations are always appreciated and can be made at
