A community theatre somewhere nearby is putting on a play. They have the good fortune to have the playwright, right there, helping them. Sound like heaven? Disaster!
The playwright insists on changes during rehearsals—including the final dress rehearsal! No one knows what to do or how to do it. Panic runs rampant throughout the cast. Opening night everything that can go wrong does. When the playwright has the nerve to join curtain call, lightning strikes! But, after all, the play must go on—or must it?

Judy Harper
Judy Harper has been active in Theatre for over 40 years. In 1982, she received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Michigan, where she majored in English and minored in Theatre as well as earning Secondary Certification in Teaching. In 1987, she earned her Master of Arts in Teaching with an English Emphasis from Saginaw Valley State University. Now retired, Judy served 32 years in the Standish-Sterling School District as an English/Theatre & Speech Educator. She has also spent the last 35 years as the District’s Theatre and Forensics Director. Since 1986, she has been actively involved, both on and off stage, in several community theaters including Bay City Players, Midland Center for the Arts, and Pit and Balcony. She has directed over 100 high school productions. The Cemetary Club, Harvey, and Nunsense are a few examples of shows she has directed for Bay City Players.
