THE NORMAL HEART
By Larry Kramer
When AIDS first raised its fearful head in the States, there was a world of accusation, terror, horrible misunderstanding, and death. It has taken decades of denial, struggle, slow understanding, and medical advancement to reach where we are today. Based on the real-life experiences of the playwright, his world, his friends, and his lover. It is poignant and devastating, yet rewarding to watch and begin to understand just what is the normal heart?
