One Slight Hitch

#

By Lewis Black

“If sustained laughter is the best measure of a comedy, ONE SLIGHT HITCH makes the grade.” —Asbury Park Press.

Everything is perfectly arranged—the gown, the guests, the reception—all ready to come off without a single difficulty. Oops, there’s ONE SLIGHT HITCH: the bride-to-be’s former boyfriend, a wandering vagabond, drops in just to chat with his old girlfriend—for old times’ sake—ya know what we mean.

As you expect in any self-respecting farce, everything possible goes wrong: shocks, surprises, disappointments, and just a bit more understanding than expected. There’s an underlying surprise in this comedy: elements of touching truth and unexpected warmth find their ways in and out of this delightful show.
